The Republican Party of Texas has kicked off a new fundraising campaign, touting what they describe as "probably the most sweeping conservative change passed in our Texas State Legislature," according to The Texas Voice. Republican Party of Texas Chairman Matt Rinaldi touted the range of legislative achievements including banning diversity, equity and inclusion programs at public universities, restricting men from competing in women's sports and imposing felony charges for violations of Texas election law, among other significant changes.

In the same fundraising letter, Rinaldi continued to tout various achievements of the Republican-controlled State Legislature and the conservative-dominated State Senate, which include granting the secretary of state more oversight over election integrity, prohibiting banks from tracking firearm and ammunition purchases, reforming the granting of lifetime tenure to university professors and disallowing local governments from imposing mandates related to masks, vaccines and shutdowns. These changes are presented as measures to safeguard and uphold the principles of freedom, liberty and personal responsibility in the Lone Star State.

Speaker Dade Phelan remains committed to expanding the Republican majority in the Texas House, emphasizing a track record of conservative accomplishments. During the 2022 election cycle, Phelan's team focused on supporting GOP incumbents and recruiting conservative candidates and extensive campaign efforts, resulting in significant achievements such as the largest property tax cut in Texas history, strengthening border security and prohibiting gender modification procedures on minors. Phelan expressed anticipation for collaborating with like-minded Republicans to further grow their majority in the lower chamber in the upcoming 2024 election cycle.

Rinaldi, in the fundraising letter, asserted that the funds raised have been utilized to recruit, train and support conservative candidates in their campaigns for the Texas State Legislature. He emphasized that after these candidates secured victory, the party continued to stand by them and advocate for a policy agenda prioritizing families and enabling parents to make critical decisions for their children.
